The first monograph by American artist Paul Mpagi Sepuya. Focusing predominantly on portraiture – often those of friends and lovers – his photographic body of work is a conscious critique of image-construction, juxtaposing abstractions, the nude body and the studio environment. The book also features Sepuya's collaborative body of work with British designer Grace Wales Bonner.
