The Swashbuckler, a 1985 novel by iconic lesbian author Lee Lynch. A classic lesfic story about Frenchy Tonneau, a butch lesbian living in New York City in the 1960s and 70s, the novel travels through Greenwich Village, Provincetown – legendary gay meccas where lesbian life changed forever. The novel was later adapted by legendary American novelist and playwright Sarah Schulman into a play that ran in New York City.
