dead Daughter by Diamond Stingily was published in tandem with her solo exhibition at Cabinet gallery in Vauxhall, London in 2021. With plush pink carpeting (echoed on the cover of the book), flower bouquets, bronze sculptures, and synthetic braided hair locks and chains, the exhibition highlighted “ambiguous traces of memory, race, and domestic life, with a degree of unsettling tension.” The accompanying book features a mix of poetry and imagery created by the American artist.
